Our team was commissioned to craft the interior design package for Hotel Karloca, a 96-room, 5-star hotel catering to both leisure and professional tourism. Located in the serene countryside, just half an hour from a bigger Serbian city, we aimed to strike the perfect balance between modernity and elegance, seamlessly integrating natural materials to harmonize with the picturesque surroundings.
Our design features dark, neutral colours and earthy tones, with a “warm and hearty” ambience in the reception and lounge area to welcome guests with open arms. Brass elements are strategically placed to add a touch of refinement to smaller spaces like the cigar room, gym, and children’s area. In the rooms and suites, expansive floor-to-ceiling windows offer uninterrupted views of the idyllic landscape.
With a restrained approach to decoration and a soothing grey colour scheme, we aimed to imbue the rooms with a sense of serenity and calmness, while preserving a high-class, premium atmosphere. Each room type has its own unique characteristics while remaining cohesive within the overall design. We also ensured that our solutions were cost-effective and locally sourced, making this hotel not just beautiful, but also sustainable.
